I’ve been on jobs where there’s that one actor who is just a miserable, miserable no-good, dirty bastard, and it just turns the whole process sour.
We continue to fight for good jobs that pay well and jobs that last. Helping to get folks back to work is about helping them to regain their dignity and pride. That’s what families care about.
We simply have to become more competitive as a state if we’re going to be successful in creating jobs, bringing capital investment and raising income levels here in South Carolina.

Those 3,000 jobs in Sioux Falls, based on our population back then in Sioux Falls, would have taken 300,000 jobs in New York City to equal it at Citibank.
Don’t be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
Producing fuel cells and solar panels requires high tech facilities and produces high paying jobs. The industry is booming in Arizona. The state already has about 100 firms in the solar industry and has grown 20% since 2003.
I have a lot of friends who get up most mornings and go to jobs they absolutely hate. I don’t think that’s what life is about and I’m so fortunate that I actually love what I do.
And they do those jobs not because they want to take away anything from America, but because they want to give their skills, their sweat, their labor, for a better life and to help build a better America, just as those who came before them.
This applies to many film jobs, not just editing: half the job is doing the job, and the other half is finding ways to get along with people and tuning yourself in to the delicacy of the situation.
We’re leaving the House to people who either were born with a silver spoon in their mouth… or couldn’t get better jobs in the first place.
It wasn’t simply that Clinton created the greatest prosperity in the country’s history. Or that we created 22 million new jobs, more than ever before. Under Clinton, poverty was reduced 25%.
Our workers comp debt is the Achilles heel of our state’s economy, and I firmly believe that in order to create more good jobs in West Virginia this system must be fixed and it must be fixed now. We cannot afford to wait even one more minute.
The Clinton administration brought 65 cases from 1995 to 2000 before the World Trade Organization. The Bush administration has brought twelve. Twelve cases. They haven’t even been able to stand up for our jobs.
Opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge stands to not only increase the United States’ oil reserves by nearly 50 percent, but it will create thousands of good U.S. jobs.

Our life is half natural and half technological. Half-and-half is good. You cannot deny that high-tech is progress. We need it for jobs. Yet if you make only high-tech, you make war. So we must have a strong human element to keep modesty and natural life.
People feel that decisions about their jobs, the way their children are educated, how their church functions, and products they buy are made by someone and some place so distant that they can’t find anybody to talk to that has any influence over them.
If you look at the fact that the best chance we have for a good economy is the private sector. The government cannot create jobs. If the government could create jobs, then Communism would have worked. But didn’t work. So what we have to do is allow the private sector and the entrepreneurial spirit to lead us back to a job-filled recovery.
The fact is that we cannot drill our way to independence. We cannot drill our way to freedom, and we cannot drill our way to create jobs in this country.
People do more important jobs than acting in film that should be recognised, but for some reason it’s big money, so people are elevated in status. If I was a bus driver, I’m sure you wouldn’t be interviewing me.
I take more jobs when I need more money, if I’m investing in films. I take fewer when I don’t. Or if something really good comes along, I usually find a way to do a good job on it in the time that I’ve got.

The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs.
The defence and air defence ministers were both replaced and more than 2,000 officers lost their jobs.
I think the Tea Party movement is great. I think anybody who has been frustrated over the last few years with the Republicans and Democrats, when they were trying to grow government and have spending and we weren’t focusing on creating jobs and get our private sector growing again, I think that’s when people started to wake up.
Let’s take care of the necessities first: give people jobs, and find a way to get us out of poverty.
Unfair trade agreements, passed by both Republicans and Democrats, have sent millions of jobs to other countries. We need to stop this hemorrhaging and find ways for American workers to compete in the new market.

Just blow in it and sound bad for about a year and then make it sound a little bit better, and you get a little band together, and then you get a few jobs. You take four guys that sound half bad, but if they’re 25 percent each, they can give 100 percent, you know?
I am not for raising taxes in a recession, especially when it comes to job creators that we need so desperately to start creating jobs again.
We need the private sector to create jobs. If the government could create jobs Communism would have worked, but it didn’t.
